I typically book appointments for Tuesday-Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM. I am currently taking walk-ins from Tuesday-Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Walk-ins are dependent on availability.
-
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be requested through the form located on the "Book Appointment" tab of this website or via email at danataylortattoos@gmail.com. Please include a description of your idea as well as the placement and size of the tattoo you want.
-
Do I need a deposit to schedule?
I require a $50 nonrefundable deposit to schedule any appointment. This deposit will be deducted from the final price of the tattoo.
-
What if I need to reschedule?
If you need to reschedule, please get in touch with me promptly to arrange a different appointment date. As long as you provide at least 72 hours in advance, your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment. However, if notice is given with less than 72 hours remaining, the original deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to secure a new appointment.
-
Will I see my drawing in advance?
I do not show designs until the appointment. This approach ensures that you have the opportunity to thoroughly review your design in a dedicated setting. At the time of the appointment, I will focus on your feedback and make any changes or alterations as needed to ensure your complete satisfaction. Your experience is important, and I strive to make the final design process as collaborative as possible.
-
What can I bring with me?
Feel free to bring a guest with you for support. Bringing along snacks and drinks for your appointment is encouraged. You can also bring items such as a small pillow, a small blanket, headphones and music, or a book to help make your experience more comfortable.
-
How can I pay?
Cash is the best and easiest way to pay for your tattoo. I also accept Venmo and any major credit cards. If you would like to tip, this can be done through cash, credit, or Venmo.
-
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Exfoliating and moisturizing the tattoo area prepares the skin and improves healing. Wear sunscreen when exposed to the sun- I am not able to tattoo skin that is sunburnt. Be well-rested, well-hydrated and eat a meal about an hour before your appointment. Please feel free to bring snacks and drinks for the session.
Wear suitable clothing; loose and stretchy clothes are best for difficult areas. A button-down shirt turned around works well for the back, and tube tops are good for chest tattoos. Avoid wearing white or new clothing to prevent stains.
